School to School
Support (S2S)
Over recent years the CSL Teaching School Alliance has continued to increase its capacity to deliver high quality school to school (S2S) support.
Our S2S support packages draw on the expertise of middle and senior leaders from across CSL inclusive of National, Local and Specialist Leaders in Education. Straddling two tiers, targeted and universal, outstanding practitioners are available to provide bespoke support packages to individuals, schools or departments based on identified priorities.
Specialist Leaders of Education (SLEs) are fundamental to the delivery of many of our S2S activities. They understand what outstanding leadership practice in their area of expertise looks like and are skilled in helping others to achieve this within their own context.

Universal Support
Accessible to CSL full member schools only - Free of charge
This tier is delivered by recognised outstanding practitioners and consists of informal, short-term (often one o ) deployment of sta and development opportunities.
Provision may be inclusive of: • Observations
• Planning
• Moderation
• Professional dialogue
School Accountability
Framework In development
A robust, rigorous, objective and evidence base accountability framework supporting school improvement across di erent schools.
Targeted Support
Available to CSL member schools, associate member schools and non-member schools
This tier of support is largely delivered by accredited practitioners. Informed by specific school improvement criteria the work commonly incorporates longer term deployments. Provision is personalised to meet individual school requirements and is inclusive of:
• Leadership and Governance development and support • Modelling of best practice
• Subject leadership
• Curriculum development
